By being proactive in supporting residents needs, they assist with housing stability and support with removing barriers that can jeopardize tenancy. They promote effective partnerships with property managers and service providers to improve the property and the community at large. The Resident Service Coordinators ability to work with community agencies on behalf of the residents goes a long way in enhancing good will and the overall view of the property within the community.

Services Offered
Resident Service Coordinators work closely with residents and their families, to enhance their experience living at a Gene B Glick community. Most importantly, Resident Service Coordinators empower residents to make healthy and informed choices to live their most fulfilled life! Some of the individualized support that Resident Service Coordinators provide includes but is not limited to the following services:
- Assistance with enrolling and maintaining benefits, such as: Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP
- Assistance with understanding prescription drug benefit plans
- Assistance with enrolling in free phone programs
- Referral to transportation services
- Collaborating with community partners to provide meal delivery and commodities programs
- Assistance with basic needs support such as: Utility, Rent and Food assistance
- Collaborating with community partners to provide durable medical equipment
- Collaborating with community partners to offer workforce development and educational programs
- Liaison between families and service providers
Programs and Events Offered
In addition to the individualized one-on-one support that Resident Service Coordinators provide to our residents, they offer events and programs at the apartment community. The goal of these programs is to support family or individual goals, but also encourage socialization and a sense of belonging.
